杉並区マンション改修PROJECT Suginami Ward Apartment Renovation Project

This project reimagines the kitchen in urban living spaces not merely as a “place for cooking,” but as a central hub where people gather and spend time together.

The focal point of the space is the stark, industrial texture of the stainless steel and the striking wall surfaces created by the interplay of different materials.

By rhythmically combining wood and stone-like materials, the design adds depth and shadow to the space, creating a backdrop with an artistic presence.

On the other hand, the lighting features pendant lamps with soft, organic forms, adding warmth and a sense of movement to the sharp, minimalist aesthetic.

The overall design features a unified, subdued palette centered on blue-gray tones, creating a space where a quiet sense of tension and a sense of quality coexist within everyday life.

By integrating the kitchen and dining area, the layout ensures that cooking, conversation, and every other activity flow seamlessly together as a continuous spatial experience.

It does more than simply fulfill the practical needs of daily life; it stimulates the senses and enriches the time we spend with others.

This project proposes a new concept for kitchen spaces in urban living.
