広島市郊外の２世帯住宅の計画である。北側を低く抑え南側を持ち上げる単純な作法により、南側道路からの視線を遮りながら住宅の北側奥まで光を取り入れることを可能とし、その事により高低差のついた空間を利用して暖められた空気を屋外に排出する計画として、機械に頼ることなく自然の換気装置としての役割を住まいの器自体に持たせるよう考えた。ちょっとした操作により導かれた形態をシンプルで機能的に組上げて表現した住宅である。

This is a plan for a two-family house in the suburbs of Hiroshima City. The simple design of keeping the north side low and the south side high allows light to enter the northern part of the house while blocking the line of sight from the road on the south side, and the plan is to use the difference in height to exhaust warm air to the outdoors. The plan was to have the vessel itself act as a natural ventilation system without relying on machines. The house is a simple and functional expression of a form that is guided by a slight manipulation.
