愛媛県松山市北部。四国にありながら台風の直撃も無く、年間を通して温暖で過ごしやすい瀬戸内独特の気候に恵まれている。ここ北条は、松山の市街地より車で30分程度。西の瀬戸内海に面し、海岸と夕景が大変美しい。また中世には河野水軍の本拠地となるなど、歴史ロマンを秘めた趣深い土地でもある。

Northern part of Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture. Although located on Shikoku Island, the area is blessed with a unique Setouchi climate that is mild and comfortable throughout the year, with no direct hit by typhoons. Hojo is about 30 minutes by car from downtown Matsuyama. Facing the Seto Inland Sea to the west, the coast and evening views are extremely beautiful. It is also an atmospheric place with a rich historical romance, as it was the home of the Kono Suigun (naval force) in the Middle Ages.
